Gail Hi ! I have Blue Eyed grass too .. but will bloom later than yours .. also Yellow Eyed grass which I think was only an annual here .. plus white ? I think ? Great picture .. they are such cheerful little plants .. you have to love them ! Joy
Both are beautiful...I got a Yellow Star Grass that is native to Cedar Glades that is a little cutie pie. I do love them...when I moved into this house they were growing wild in the grass! I still find little babies there from time to time.
We knew we had good taste! I wish I could be consistent with photos sometime they work out and sometimes they don't. No muscle memory has developed! Have fun.....

Garden Agreements
After a little reassurance...I was able to convince Clay and Limestone that I would keep my agreements to honor my roots; not fall prey to comparisons and the dissatisfaction they breed; not for a minute think a gorgeous face was enough to base a gardening relationship upon and never, never disparage the garden to another gardener.
If we make our goal to live a life of compassion and unconditional love, then the world will indeed become a garden where all kinds of flowers can bloom and grow. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
About Me
Gail
Middle Tennessee, United States
Welcome to my mostly native garden in Middle Tennessee, zone 7ish! I've been gardening here for 23 years. Plants have to be rugged to survive our wet winters and dry summers~that's why I plant Cedar Glade natives. Recently the yard and I negotiated a truce. I added some much needed hardscape and reworked some borders, adding even more natives and native friendly exotics that will grow and thrive in clay and limestone. You can email me at gailtilesatgmaildotcom.

Hi Gail, that is one gorgeous photo, well done! SNOB is my favorite Charleston restaurant, how funny!
Frances
gg!
Me, too...and blue is hard to capture on film.
Dave,
Thanks, now if only I could do that all the time! I tried with some yellow flowers and they just wash out and the stamens disappear!
Tina,
It is a sweet little iris...I found him growing in the grass when I moved here.
